Application and Submission Instructions for Self-allocated School Places for Primary One (Admission for the Academic Year 2024-2025)

Each eligible child (born on or before December 31, 2018) can only submit one application form for self-allocated school places. If multiple applications are submitted to different schools, the applications will be invalidated.

Parents should personally submit the application form to our school from September 25 to September 29, 2023.

Submission time at our school: 9:00 am to 12:00 pm, 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm (Monday to Friday) or

Submit the application through the "Grade One Admission Electronic Platform" from September 21 to September 29, 2023.

(If parents have registered as users of the "Grade One Admission Electronic Platform" and have linked their account with "Smart Convenience+", they can submit the self-allocated school place application and central allocation application through the electronic platform.)

Section A: Requesting Application Form

1. Parents can obtain the application form from the kindergarten the child is attending
2. Obtain the application form from various District Offices in Hong Kong

Section B: Required Documents for Submission:

1.Completed and signed Grade One self-allocated school place  application form

2.Parent or guardian's original and photocopy of identification card or other identification documents

(If someone else submits the application form, they must present a photocopy of the parent's identification document and an authorization letter)

3.Original and photocopy of the child's Hong Kong birth certificate

4.If not born in Hong Kong, please provide the original and photocopy of the child's non-local birth certificate and the original and photocopy of the identity document allowing the child to reside in Hong Kong (e.g., one-way permit, return permit)

5.If residing in Hong Kong, please provide the original and photocopy of proof of address (e.g., water/electricity/gas bill, residential telephone bill, public housing tenancy agreement, rates demand note, stamped rental agreement, etc.)

*Proof of address is not required for residents in Mainland China

Section C: Siblings of Current Students

1. Required documents for items 1-5 in Section B, and
2. Original and photocopy of the birth certificate of the sibling attending the school
3. Original and photocopy of the student handbook of the sibling attending the school (cover and photo page with school stamp)

Section D: Siblings Studying at the Same School Address (Fung Hai No.1 Secondary School)

1. Required documents for items 1-5 in Section B, and
2. Original and photocopy of the birth certificate of the sibling

3. Original and photocopy of the student handbook of the sibling (Fung Hai No.1 Secondary School) (cover and photo page with school stamp)

Section E: Parent or Sibling is a Graduate of Our School

1. Required documents for items 1-5 in Section B, and
2. Original and photocopy of the birth certificate of the sibling, and the sibling's graduation certificate (original and photocopy) or
3. Original and photocopy of the parent's graduation certificate from our school
