Organic Ecological Garden

Our school's ecological garden adopts the practice of organic farming, emphasizing the harmonious interaction with the environmental ecosystem. We cultivate our crops based on the principles of natural conservation and sustainable development, without the use of chemical pesticides, fertilizers, or other petroleum by-products. By adhering to natural agricultural methods, we strive to nurture the soil and produce healthy crops.

Every day, the "Environmental Ambassadors" of our school collect kitchen waste to create organic fertilizer. Through leading by example, they understand that organic cultivation not only helps conserve resources and reduce waste emissions but also maintains the regenerative capacity of the natural system.

    Advantages of Organic Farming:

    • Reduced cultivation costs: Organic farming using natural fertilizers can make the soil more fertile, reducing the need for water irrigation and energy. It also strengthens the soil and reduces the use of pesticides, resulting in cost savings.
    • Soil enhancement: Organic cultivation effectively strengthens the soil's resistance, promotes microbial reproduction, and eliminates the problems caused by continuous cropping.
    • Enhanced crop resilience: The use of organic fertilizers such as corn gluten meal, garlic, clove oil, salt, and borax can improve the quality of crops and enhance their resistance.
    • Increased drought resistance: Organic farming improves the structure of the topsoil and its moisture retention capacity, which helps reduce water usage and increases the ability to withstand drought.
    • Environmental benefits: Organic farming relies on natural and biological pesticides such as chili peppers, onions, garlic, coffee grounds, soap, and tobacco. These natural pesticides are harmless to the air, land, and water, and they are also cost-effective.
